You can't miss it — the deep blue corner at 100 Marchmont Road, barber pole spinning, tomato and cucumber plants growing in the window. Inside: warm wood, a nazar boncuğu over the mirror, and traditional Turkish barbering done properly.
Owner Vedat runs the kind of shop neighbours vouch for. When a local had an accident outside, one reviewer wrote, he "came immediately and helped… and made sure I was feeling safe". That's the corner shop spirit — and it shows in the chair too.
